Several years ago I had the opportunity to travel to Israel and visit several historic sites. I was with a group and a few times I wanted to go one way and the group wanted to go another so I would go alone. These alone trips were my best experiences.
One of these lone ventures was to the Garden Tomb. I, with the group, had just visited the church of the Holy Sepulcher, the place where the Catholic church claims Jesus was buried. The Garden Tomb is the place where most Protestants claim He was buried.
Now there is a wooden door on the tomb with a sign on it. As I approached there was a small group of people coming out of the tomb and they wanted a photo with the sign. I entered the tomb and they closed the door, and there I stood alone in the dark.

I thought to myself, what a great opportunity, there could be no better time or place to ask, so I lifted my hands and asked, Lord, where was Jesus buried? Instantly without hesitation or vagueness I heard an answer.
That answer is this: “It is not important where Jesus was buried. What is important is that there is no place where He is buried.”

Happy Easter!
